ALL ABOUT OUR ORGANIC SAUVIGINON BLANC
We are facing a significant change in consumer behavior. More than ever, we are aware and concerned about our environmental impact and personal health; and that is why consumers have gradually demanded products that are as natural as possible in every category: clothing items, beauty, cleaning products, food, and of course, wine.
The global trend points towards the consumption of organic products, and the wine industry is no exception: today it is easier to find a vegan and organic wine, than it was a few years ago.
In organic viticulture, we aim to create a balance between the vines and the local flora and fauna and to maintain a healthy soil management, preventing erosion. This not only represents a benefit for the health of the consumer, but it is also positive for the fertility and biological diversity of the soil. This is how organic wines likes Cono Sur’s Organic Sauvignon Blanc are made.
More about the Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is a highly aromatic grape variety. It is cultivated mainly in France, New Zealand, Chile and California. It is a small green grape, from which a white wine is produced with aromas reminiscent of green and citric fruits, elderflower, green leaves and cut grass.
What Sauvignon Blanc brings to the table? Well, it is a refreshing, delicate and juicy wine, ideal to pair with spicy food, fish and vegetables. It is also an excellent aperitif. Ideally, it is served between 8 ° C and 10 ° C.
Vegan wine
Veganism is also another rising trend. That is why Cono Sur has made an effort to launch vegan wines, which do not contain any ingredients or additives of animal origin. Cono Sur’s vegan wines are certified since 2019 by V-Label.
